Today was the final round of the PGA tournament and Rory McIlroy took the victory by one shot from veteran Phil Mickelson.  It was an exciting ending with the top 4 within 1 shot of each other.  Some amazing shots to get out of some off target shots.  Nighttime beginning to fall made for a dramatic ending.

| 3/4 Frisina - Dad, Greg, Stephen |
Golf history was also made in the Frisina family, as my mom was glued to the TV ... lol.  For the last few holes, it was my mom, dad, sister & I texting about the shots.  Now my dad has always enjoyed golf  - at the driving range, playing a round of 18 or watching on TV.  He loves to golf with any of his children and plays a couple of tournaments a year - shown here at Holy Family's Classic with my brothers.

My knee injury and surgery put my golf game on the back burner for a while.  I have my own petite clubs (thanks to my dad) and I've taken lessons a couple times with different girlfriends.  So I decided to give it a go at a charity event at Wooden Sticks in June with some work colleagues and Todd Harvey, former NHL player who happened to play for the Dallas Stars. As you can see my father & I share the title of "shortest in the 4some".

| Longest drive |
I had one of my best games that day. My knee didn't give me any problems and I think all my strength training paid off on my drive distance. I even claimed the spot of women's longest drive momentarily.  Shared that moment by text with my dad (technology has its advantages). Now truth be told the men outnumbered the women 12 to 1 so less competition for that title, but my name proudly held the honor for at least one hole ;-)
